Gram tica: 6. 1 indirect object pronouns, gustar and similar verbs: an indirect object receives the action of the verb in a sentence and generally answers the question to whom or for whom. To/for you, them: placement of indirect object pronouns is the same as for direct object pronouns. They are placed immediately before a conjugated verb or can be attached to the end of an infinitive or gerund. If pronouns are attached to a gerund, you must add a written accent to indicate the original stressed syllable. If an indirect object noun is used in a sentence, it must be accompanied by the corresponding indirect object pronoun. This may seem redundant, but is necessary in spanish. You can leave out the indirect object noun (e. g. , a mis amigos) if the context is clear, but you must always include the indirect object pronoun (me, te, le, nos, os, les).
