Dimensions of new partner relationships in old age. Increase importance of touch and loving and less focus on physical sex. Since you are older, you don"t want to spend time on a ten year courtship because you realize you don"t have all that much time left. Husband is a republican and wife is a democrat. As people get older and are starting new relationships, they start living with more differences. You don"t want to be alone and isolated. Get relationships where people actually live apart (living in separate houses) Mom or dad marrying someone who isn"t their other biological parent. Wants to be sensitive to the children but as the same time, they really don"t care (don"t override everything)
