The constitution creates the federal government that allows states to share sovereign power. (there needs to be a parent to make sure all the kids play nice in the sandbox) The supremacy clause of the constitution allows federal law to intervene when state or local laws are in conflict. (in accordance with the 14 amendment) The commerce clause allows congress to regulate trade between various states. Bill of rights- first ten amendments of the constitution. (are these rights guaranteed to businesses?) First amendment- freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc. An individual can verbally lie but a business must accurately label products.
