Document Summary
Has little pores (nuclear pores: connects the interior of the nucleus with the rest of the cytoplasm. Can find portion of the dna inside the nucleus. Can be in couple of forms: chromatins - long thin fibers that contains dna & protein, chromatids - dna can be condense into chromatids - during cell division. Nuclear plasma - surrounds the chromatins inside the nucleus. Nuclear lamina - mesh work of protein, maintains the shape of the nuclear envelope and nucleus. The nuclear lamina will depolymerize during cell division, does this because. Dna is separating, but then repolymerize for the two new cell form. Found in cytoplasm, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and chloroplast. Network of interconnecting membranes that are distributed through out the cytoplasm. There is so much of this, that it has a greater surface area. Lumen: space inside the er, has it own mirco environment, internal compartment, has it own salt/ionic concentration, proteins.
