Ex. fully saturated blue has no yellow in it, if you want to de-saturate a scene ! that"s too intensely blue, add in its complement (yellow)! Red, green and blue are the primary colors! The degree of blue or red in white light measured in the kelvin (k) scale! For example, white light that has more blue in is has a higher temp. White light with more red has a lower temp. Think blue = higher b/c the sky is blue (up high)! Sun is just below the horizon! (before sunrise, after sunset)! Color palette: the color of objects on the set! Lters and gels: af xed to camera lens and light sources! Time/location: time of day of shoot will affect color, as will location of shot! Telling the camera the color temp. of the lighting scheme! In placce of barn doors or in addition to! Like tin foil, you can shape it/cut off certain parts of the light!
