Ngbl lasted 11 years, drawing 1/2 million fans in 1948! Minor leagues peak of post wwii = boom, but diminished after that! End of the war change in gender ideology! Going from rosie the riveter to domesticated mom! After women decided to leave the league and have babies, there was nobody up next ! to play ! No longer were people going to games to support the war effort!
