Linguists recognize that krio is a language and has all the design features of a language and its own syntax, morphemes, and grammar. Part of kinship is based on marriage culturally recognized mating bonds generally between men and women. Kinship is based on biological relationships but cannot be reduced to biology alone. Sex within anthropology refers to the observable physical characteristics that distinguish males and females.
