Literature review the research you do to figure out what is out there about the topic you are asking about: ex: dr. Historically = literary pilgrims: only the elite had books and money to travel. Anyone who visits a site associated with an author or their literary work is a literary tourists. Special places: ex: lord of the rings was filmed in new zealand and people flock there still to experience it. Like looking at the origin stories and our heritage to it. The place in the literature/culture has a certain meaning which can give it a reality eclipsed or a kitsch. The idea that place is a space that is made meaningful.
