Like phonetics, phonology can be described, very generally, as the study of speech sounds. What are the sounds that occur in the language?etc) Phonology: the study of the organization and patterning of speech sounds in a language. Huh: we may find the same exact sounds in two or more languages. We may find same sounds with same articulation in more than one human language, they might be phonetically identically but they may not have the same function in the languages, or the same distribution.
