Specify methodology that will be employed to collect data to test hypotheses. Examples: questionnaire, survey, experiment, interview, content analysis, etc. [4] operationalization and measurement of concepts and variables. Not all concepts are in the dictionary. Operational definition: how you plan to measure the concept. Conduction of the method you plan to use (examples listed in step 3) Analyze data with the use of statistics. Examples: t test, anova test, regression analysis, contingency table analysis. Process is geared towards assessing the hypotheses. [7] draw and evaluation on the basis of the analysis of the data as to whether or not the hypothesis was supported. If the hypothesis is supported: given that the hypothesis was supported, then it was a good theory that guided by hypothesis . If the hypothesis is not supported: do not find fault in theory. It is not a good theory if there is no fault in the method; maybe the theory does not apply to the culture.
