Usually, no physical symptoms other than pain: conversion disorder. A sensory or motor impairment without apparent organic cause iii. iv. v. i. ii. The affective disorders: major depression, sad, slow-moving, full of guilt, apathetic, socially withdrawn i. ii. Decreased levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in some parts of the brain. These are neurotransmitters: bipolar disorder, alternating episodes of depression and mania, mania is characterized by, exuberant, unrealistic activity, feelings of elation and self-confidence.
