Regulatory devices instruct you to stop, proceed in a certain direction, or limit your speed. All regulatory devices indicate action required by the driver. A roundabout is an intersection control device with traffic circulating around an island. Approaching vehicles must yield to the traffic in the circle. Always enter to the right of the central island. If you plan to turn beyond an intersection, signal just after you pass through the intersection. If you signal earlier, another driver may think you are turning at the intersection. A center lane between lanes of traffic traveling in opposite directions may be designated for left turns only. This type of lane is marked by parallel solid and dashed yellow lines and is sometimes accompanied by white arrows on the pavement. When a tire suddenly goes flat, you must hold the steering wheel tightly and keep the vehicle going straight slow down gradually.
