2010, banksy is the english based director, graffiti artist, and political activist. Thierry guetta wanted to make a movie about banksy but became more interested and made it about himself. Thierry is a frenchman who owns a clothing store primarily focused on older clothes. Obsessed with carrying around a camera everywhere he goes. Came upon his cousin making space invaders tiles and hanging them around the city. He was fascinated with the fact that you could portray something you"ve created and love around the city. This cousin was known as space invader , a huge player in the street art movement. All the pieces are shared over the internet and viewed by millions. Liked the danger of doing something illegal. Invader arranged to meet up with another artist in l. a. by the name of. Shepard fairey eventually created the red and blue obama picture.
