Fdr hands down money to hopkins that gets to mayors and says to get men jobs that are in soup lines. We are spending federal taxpayers money to employ the unemployed. This was the work relief that gave 4 million. Work progress administration (wpa) was a work relief. Hopkins knows that he needs to get more money in infrastructure but he knows he needs to build what the people want. Hopkins said that he was going to build non gravel roads, airports, schools, etc. There was a new power generation in tennessee where they used tva electric power in places that couldn"t normally get power. Also with this new energy/surplus electric power the u. s. eventually learns how to make the atomic bomb and become advanced in hacking. The kids in the military would usually support their parents somewhat because most of their paychecks went to the parents. Cio aims to employ factory and assembly line workers.
