Anything that is closed has blood because blood is a connective tissue. ( blood goes back to the heart ( atrium) > ventricle and to gills. 3-4 chambered heart ( lungs ) land. Amphibian and mammal: 3-4 chambers to live on land & 2 different circuits of flow. Capillaries : sight of exchange of any materials. Heart: lungs ( blood is oxygenated ) Right atrium and right ventricle ( a comes before v) *enters in the right. Heart- body ( materials transported to/from cells ) Site of diffusion nutrients, gases, waste- bet. tissues/ blood. Diffusion bet. capillaries/ interstitial fluid surrounding cells. Materials move out and into interstitial fluid that surrounds capillaries and cells. Wastes move from cells into the capillaries.
