Mccarthy- red scare/ communism/cold war: division of eastern europe/ western europe. Iron curtain: free world (americas v communist world) Meteorite falls: and hurts a woman vaccination/ nuclear power. I am legend there was a war that caused a plague which had the effect of dust storms and spread throughout cities/ insects. This could be associated with the nuclear war/ atomic age. 3 person limited point of view: nothing in this book happens except when he"s there.
