All of electromagnetism is governed by just four equations! In this course we will begin to investigate this simple and elegant theory, which, unlike newtonian gravity, remains untouched to this day. An understanding of electromagnetism is basic to the understanding of most modern devices. We then turn to the study of waves: light (electromagnetic waves) and sound, which serve as the starting point for the further studies of matter waves in the exciting world of quantum mechanics which you will discover in. Lab time: you must register in one of the laboratory sessions.
