Secretes the products of hypothalamus because it is below hypothalamus: pineal gland. Goiter enlargement of thyroid gland: thymus. Small when we are born and grows as we age. But it also gets smaller when we are getting older. That is why elders are susceptible to illnesses. Pure endocrine gland: gonads (testis and ovary) Secrete hormones that regulates reproductive cycle: kidney. Kidney also secrete hormones and also considered as endocrine gland. It secretes the hormone erythropoietin stimulus is anemia. Not pure endocrine gland because it performs excretion and production of urine: hypothalamus. There will be a secretion of hormones once there is a stimulus. Melanocyte-stimulating hormone produce melanin when it is stimulated by the sunlight. Chemical released by one or more cells that affect cells in other parts of the organism.
