In persuasive speeches, the speaker aims to sway an audience using aristotle"s ethos, logos and pathos while at the same time fulfilling the goals of the informative speaker. Because of this case, the informative and persuasive can be used interchangeably, but what keeps both separate is that the persuasive speech is a stronger informative speech. An informative speech can be seen as persuasive just as a persuasive speech can be seen as informative. I had trouble differentiating between the two types of speeches when composing my second speech on malpractice. When i started, i felt that my speech resembled my previous informative speech. Some points however, were much stronger making my speech more persuasive than informative. Question 2:this statement emphasizes the importance of ethos when composing a speech.
