Some people may not understand a point in a proposal so delivering your message personally ensures that you obtain immediate feedback that can help you clarify points and answer questions so they don"t veto this proposal. Analyze the situation you wish to present before writing up your presentation. In order to be successful you must present in a way that will be successful to your audience. Sometimes one or two listeners have the power to approve or reject your appeal be sure to note this before the presentation and identify their interests, needs, attitudes, and prejudices, and direct your appeal toward them. Make sure to address what people want to know, and not what they already know in order to avoid offending them.
