calculate the moles of ATP pergram for the complete aerobic metabolism of the following aminoacids.
NOTE: Be sure to oxidize theamino acid all the way to CO2.
Don't stop when you get to a Krebs cycle intermediate --go from oxaloacetate to PEP to pyruvate to acetyl-SCoA and thenoxidize the acetyl-SCoA to CO2 bygoing around the Krebscycle again.
Note: Whenever glutamate is produced in a transaminationreaction, recycle it to α-ketoglutarate (via the glutamatedehydrogenase reaction) and make ATP from the NADH.
a) alanine
b) arginine (assume that both dehydrogenases use NAD+, notNADP+, as an oxidizing agent)
c) tyrosine
d) isoleucine
