Polyploidy is common in plants. This occurs where there are more than two complete sets of chromosomes. In agriculture, it is common to create triploid fruit with three complete sets of chromosomes, which are sterile, and therefore, seedless. Using what you know about meiosis, predict why two triploid plants would be unable to successfully create offspring.
