A great incentive for the actors to file the lawsuit was to increase the amount they each were paid an episode, which for most of them was $65,000 an episode. If a contract is illegal, may it be voided even if the actors knowingly signed to the terms of the contract? How do you think the judge should have decided this case, and why?

You are a state judge who must decide if the state Governor has obscure justice and must therefore be impeached. The evidence presented to you states that there is a 75% probability that the governor is guilty. The cost to society for wrongfully convicting the governor is $100,000. The cost to society for a wrongful acquittal is $25,000.
