A string has a linear density of 5.5 x 10-3 kg/mandis under a tension of 380 N. The string is 2.0 m long, is fixedatboth ends, and is vibrating in the standing wave pattern showninthe drawing. Determine the (a)speed,(b) wavelength, and (c)frequencyof the traveling waves that make up the standingwave.
I got 260 for the speed and 200 for the frequency. However, when I tried to find the wavelength I got 1.3 (two sigfigs) and itsaid it was wrong. Can someone tell me what I didwrong?
