A question from Young University Physics Chapter 3:
When a rifle is fired at a distant target, the barrel is notlined
up exactly on the target. Why not? Does the angle ofcorrection
depend on the distance of the target?
I understand why the barrel is not lined up exactly on targetdepending on the distance (gravity.) But the Cramster answer tothis question mentions that the angle of correction does not dependon the distance to the target. Why doesn't it?
