Explanation on the same is, the centripetal force (F) acting on the truck can be calculated using the formula:
F = (m * ) / r
where m is the mass of the object (in this case, the truck), v is the velocity of the object, and r is the radius of the curve.
Plugging in the given values, we get:
F = (1500 kg * 15 m/) / 17.5 m
F = (1500 kg * 15 m/) / 17.5 m
F = 8550 N.
