It was found to be the first detailed scientific study of child development. During the first seven days various reflex actions, namely sneezing, hiccuping, yawning, stretching, and of course sucking and screaming, were well performed. Researched child development which was based on physiological and psychological observation during first three years of his son. His scientific insights were gained through continuous observations.
