Allows us to think without awareness, therefore allocation attention to other tasks. Autopilot: allows us to concentrate on other things, like having discussion or thinking about future action. Implicit memory: knowing without knowing how you know, related to procedural memory. Occurs automatically, outside of conscious awareness and is extremely ef cient. Revising life histories; attitudes, pain memories, emotional memories for positive events can change or distort person"s experience. Moods and intuitions - thought to be effected by our moods. By stander effect: presence of others in uence our actions, help people less often if in the presence of other people.
