Our topic for the presentation: Schutz theory of Interpersonal Needs In a Group
1. The presentation needs to include
a. A description of every stage or phase of group development, outlined in the
theory you are assigned, which your group went through and examples/evidence.
b. A brief description of your norms and if there were any issues in respecting them
c. A brief description about your ability to facilitate and plan tasks as a group and if
any challenges arose.
d. A brief description of decision making processes, which you agreed upon and
which were actually used.
e. A brief description of leadership processes used
f. Conflict resolution strategies: what worked, what did not.

For the activity, we want to have an interactive activity that will connect Schutz’ theory to
everyone’s group. We will ask everyone to sit with their groups and will base the activity around
the groups.
