Excel stores spreadsheets in files called workbooks. The name box displays the cell reference of the active cell. The select all button is used to select all of the cells in the active worksheet. The row headings are the my numbers along the left side of the worksheet window they identify the different rows in the worksheet. The sheet tab scrolling buttons scroll the list of the sheet tabs in the worksheet. The sheet currently displayed in the worksheet window is the active sheet that is white. A workbook is made up of individual sheets. Each sheet is identified with a sheet name, found on the sheet tab. The colulm headings are the letters along the top of the worksheet window that identify the different columns in a worksheet. A worksheet displays the contents of the spreadsheet laid out in a grid of rows and columns. Intersection of a row and column is a cell.
