Peter is a 19 yr old male caucasian, an only child. Canadian background; his father is an engineer and his mother is a supply teacher. Peter is healthy and experienced the normal childhood illnesses. Peter had no issues during his childhood and had an above average school record. Although he was considered to be shy, he had a number of long term friends. He enjoyed playing hockey in a house league and skateboarded with his friends. Peter"s behavior started to change during grade nine at ancaster secondary high. He complained to his mother about the stress of high school and started to be truant. He became obsessive about a violent video game and started spending hours online playing. Peter and his parents arranged for home-schooling, but he failed to pursue any educational activity as he had promised he would do. Peter started to live in the basement of the family home and withdrew from his friends.
