Influenced physiologists: different areas of the brain serve different functions, electric impulses travelling along different channels. Wundt: shut down an animal brain by section to study functions of different regions. Introspection must analyze and breakdown our experiences through self-reflection to study mental processes. Psychological analysis: studies what lies in the subjects mind how thoughts, memories and emotions motivate actions, studied the patters of memories and emotions.
