Liberalism- freedom from tradition and authority; emphasizes equality. Conservatism- belief in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society. Colonialism- a country conquers and rules over other regions (coming in and taking over) Imperialism- creating an empire and displaying its dominance by expanding into the neighbouring regions. Capitalism- production and distribution should be regulated by private owners for $ Socialism- production and distribution should be regulated by the whole community. Communism- all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to abilities and needs. Easy riders bear high cost of feeling wind in their hair. When races comes into play white people withdraw into silence. Privileged people react negatively to looking at privilege and oppression. People look at things in terms of individuals (individualistic views) If this is the view it"s easy to think that social problems are because of individual flaws. If people heal themselves the world will heal as well.
