I really enjoyed reading about idea surrounding how material storage is displayed stood out. Prior to this week"s reading, with all honesty i do not recall putting adequate time into planning out where and how the storage of my supplies would be. I think storages and putting things in their spots is something that we often overlook so easily simply because we"re focused on the toys we took out, and not where we"re going to put them afterwards. Another new piece of information that i learned this week was how important aesthetics are in the classroom. Aesthetics is a worthy but often unconsidered goal when designing the visual environment for infants and toddlers- and i certainly am guilty of falling short in this aspect. The same reading also shined a light on the importance of the attractiveness and beauty of the center, as it equally brings pleasure to those who work there, not just the children.
