1describe the difference between ethics, privacy, and security. -ethics refers to the principles of right and wrong that individuals use to make choices that guide their behavior. Privacy is the right to be left alone and free of unreasonable personal intrusion. Information privacy is the right to determine when, and to what extent, information about you can be gathered and communicated to others. Security can be defined as the degree of protection against criminal activity, danger, damage or loss. -fundamental tenets of ethics are responsibility, accountability and liability. Ethical issues related to it are privacy, accuracy, property, and access to information. Threats to privacy can be posed by too much information stored and recorded on internet bulletin boards, social networking sites and newsgroups. Security can be compromised by a number of factors like human errors both unintentional and socially engineered. Unintentional errors include tailgating and intentional errors include an attacker impersonating a superior employee.
