The opioid epidemic has because one of the nation"s number one public health problems and as the article stated 91 people die from overdoses everyday . The article talked about drug courts and how effective they are to the individuals who go through them. These resources include medication, employment, education and housing which are all things necessary for creating a new life for the individuals going through the process. I specifically chose this article due to my experience with the opioid epidemic.
