In a team we don"t talk about the individual, we talk about the team: you"re not as interested in the individual, talking about individuals and teams can we similar though, each has emotions, strengths, weaknesses. At points you need to go down to an individual level to tweak things. A key element to being a good leader/manager. You need to understand what others do not. Form things get started, people are pumped, not too much has been done. Storm work starts, people start expressing themselves. Norm people get to know each other, become closer, understand how people work and form a normal. ***note: don"t get hung up on this linear model. People will do very little, until about half way where activity will continue to increase until the due date. Model was created through observational research in companies. It"s not about the time frame, people typically follow this model no matter how long the timeframe is.
