Ethos subway does not have trust for talent and pathos the environment was not right, subway is stressful. Logos: idea makes sense from audience pov. Work needs to be done to make idea relevant again. Ethos: reputation, credibility, what are you known for. Pathos: stories, emotional affections , they must make the right emotional environment for the message. Something works then it shifts and it doesn"t work. Setting creates condition for pathos + ethos. Aristotle: circumstances changes the way that we perceive things. Platos isolates two minds and says here"s this rational thing, ur not understanding the reason enough.
