The first of the readings for this week is an article describing how everyone has implicit biases and we are approaching the concept of them incorrectly. Chapter: the second of the readings includes the topic of diversity and how the idea of different groups are placed into categories. In literature, diversity often refers to non-privileged groups such as minorities, women, and those with disabilities. It is not a term often used for the mainstream groups, and is associated with movements such as civil rights, policy changes, and globalism.
