Liberty makes possible the arts and education particularly for african americans. The same kind of learning white americans enjoy, so should black americans. Hypocrisy: freedom being a white woman insinuating that blacks need help of the whites. Not everyone is wearing a white cap to signified that they are free. So although abolitionists believed slaves should be free, they did not believe that they should hold the same equal rights as whites.
