Intelligence comes into being only when you begin to understand your whole environment. There is always a tension between freedom and order order constricts yet creates freedom. We are condemned to be free. we always have to make some kind of a choice. We may not be able to choose our circumstances but can choose the attitude we take towards them. Security is always at the cost of someone else. We cannot be in communication with others and just say whatever we wish. If we throw off all constraints in interactions with others we would make no sense to anyone. You may be free to leave the country at will, but have no money for the ticket. We must make our own cognitive choices in order to be individuals and not follow the crowd. The moment we want to be something we are no longer free. trying to conform to a role.
