People are extremely greedy and should respect nature more. It"s basically impossible to include all living organisms on the same level as human-beings. Humans are the most important, and their well-being is more important than other living organisms. It"s impossible and illogical to treat a dog the same as a human because you can"t have a conversation or anything with them. You can"t treat them as moral bodies and amoral bodies at the same time. You can"t decide which animals get more of the say. Peter wenz (energy, economics, and future generations) Future generations don"t have human rights because they do not even exist. Parfit"s response: if you leave a man-trap on your land and 10 years later it maims a five-year-old child, you"re to blame. Respect for the rights of future generations means that we have to act now to combat global warming. Future people"s lives are based on what we do now, so our policies can"t violate them.
