Earth is the only planet/object in the entire universe to harbor life because of its water. But the total volume on earth is quite small and it"s mostly salt water. Just the thickness of the ink on a globe is the same thickness of the atmosphere and the water. The ground below us (tectonic plates) also drives the ocean. It is impossible to prove conclusively that the world is a sphere hypotheses stand or fail on their ability to explain known observations and to predict the outcome of observations that haven(cid:1442)t been performed yet.
