Occasionally to deliver feedings over a short time, but not ideal due to size (12-18 fr: dobhoff: primarily for enteral feedings, smaller size (8-12 fr), weighted tip to help insert, radiopaque stylet (can see it on x-ray) Tube feeding administration methods: tubes, nasogastric or nasoenteral tubes, gastrostomy or jejunostomy tubes for long-term feeding, methods.
