Audience is not there to see or hear you, but the person introduced. Need to choose the occasion/event, person/group introducing, the speaker"s/performer"s topic. May include thanking the person(s) who presented you with the gift, award, and the people making it possible. Usually longer than a speech of presentation,; but as brief as possible: speech of presentation: Usually shorter than other types of special occasion speeches. Audience is waiting to hear from person being presented.
