Anthropologists tend to each specialize in one particular characteristic of ancestors. Human paleontology- the study of the emergence of humans and their later physical evolution/ Primatologists- those specializing in the study of primates. Human variation- the study of why and how contemporary human populations differ. Human sapiens- all living people who can interbreed. Historical archaeology- the study of the remains of recent people who left written records. Culture- the customary ways of thinking and behaving of a particular population or society. Ethnology- the study of cultural patterns of behavior such as religion, music, art, marriage customs, etc. Ethnography- a detailed description of cultural behaviors and customs based on observation.
