Big money comes from acquiring monopolies and amassing wealth: wealth is more fluid today than in past, the most rich inds in the world are not rich and famous, just rich. In us, wealth is more concentrated than income: 3 part class division: 1% more than 1/3rd of income, 9% own 1/3rd, 90% own 1/3rd. Conservative nature of wealth ca undermine progressive soc changes black inds: but there is still a gap btwn white and black wealth vulnerable to losses and can"t pass things on to the next gen.
