Family of orientaion: the family someone was born or raised in, it gives our history, heritage, and social status. Family of procreaion: the family an individual creates when they become an adult. Census: oicial count of the populaion including age, sex, and occupaion. Naional household survey: informaion previously collected by mandatory long-form census quesionnaires. Provides data to support government program and planning delivery. Validity: the ability of a measurement to accurately gauge/measure what it sets out to measure. Reliability: whether or not the same results would occur if an experiment was replaced. Boomerang generaion: young adults who return to their parents" home ater leaving for work, school, or a relaionship. Mixed marriage: unions of people from diferent ethno cultural backgrounds. Common-law couple: a couple who is not married but sill living together.
