Culture is a way of life shared by people. Cogniive: culture contains knowledge and beliefs of people. Socializaion: learn other cultures and behaviours in our world. Culture is learned, not something that just exists. With culture comes symbols and gestures with meanings. Elements of culture work together as a whole. Developed technologies in order to survive and work together. Humans are taught how to survive through socializaion. Cultures afect the way we eat, beliefs, etc. Ethnocentrism: the way we see the world in our culture. Pracices, beliefs, and norms that canadians share are not universal. Mode of producion: the way humans get resources to survive is how they construct their culture. Socioeconomic formaion: society with a way of producion. Cultures have diferent ways of acknowledging the importance of ancestors. Foraging is a popular way in some socieies. Hunters and gathers produced no food, provided in nature. Meat was valued because it was scarce.
