The economic environment: the economic environment refers to the conditions of the economic system in which an organization operates, people reduce spending during tough times (low employment) which means that less produce needs to be produced. Low-cost stores such as dollarama thrive during these "low" times. Economic growth: because agricultural efficiency has improved so much, far fewer people are needed to produce the food we (cid:374)eed co(cid:373)pared to (cid:373)a(cid:374)y years ago.
